Neocirrhites armatus, the flame hawkfish, is a species of hawkfish native to tropical reefs of the Pacific Ocean at depths of from 1 to 10 metres. This fish reaches a length of 9 centimetres TL. This species is also found in the aquarium trade. It is the only known member of its genus.
