| Her name Neferet-iti means `The beautiful has come` and is written in a cartridge from the 5th year of Akhenaten`s reign, Nefer-neferu-Aton `Beautiful are the beauties of the Aton`. Nefertiti bears the titles `Great Royal Wife` and `Mistress of the Two Lands`, which is attested on some talatat blocks from Karnak. In the tomb of Akhenaten she appears as the `master of Upper and Lower Egypt`. In some texts, she is also titled `Great in Favor` and on a shabti as `Princess and Great in the Palace`. |
