Pictured is Nebenmaat standing in a pose of adoration before a a seated, damaged image of the Egyptian god Thoth holding an Ankh. It is located on the ceiling of TT219 in Deir el-medina. Nebenmaat was an ancient egyptian artisan who lived with other workmen in Dar el-Medina. They built and decorated the tombs in the nearby Valley of the Kings as well as their own tombs in Deir el-Medina. As other workmen who lived their, he was titled `Servant in the Place of Truth`. He was buried with his wife Mertseger. The paintings are in the monochrome style.
