Boldino, Pushkin State Memorial Museum and Natural Resrve (Manor) Boldino is one of the most remarkable and the biggest Pushkin museums in Russia. Pushkin’s family estate Boldino played an exceptional role in the creative biography of the poet: the so-called “Boldino autumn” of 1830 was outstandingly fruitful for Pushkin’s poetry and made this place remembered all over Russia. Here he completed “Eugene Onegin” and a number of other famous masterpieces. The reserve with the total area of over fifty hectares includes thirteen architectural monuments, most of which were restored in the 1985-1990s, as well as two estate parks in Boldino and L’vovka settlement.The museum features the poet’s life and work during his stay here. Nizhny Novgorod Region, Bolshoe Boldino Settlement
