This lobelia has spires of colorful hood-like flowers that sit on stately spikes in late summer and fall. This is considered a marginal so it likes Prefers Wet Soil. It will naturalize along the edges of your pond or stream. Butterflies and hummingbirds like them too! ââ¬ËElm Fireââ¬â¢ has deep beet root red leaves and incredibly vivid red flowers in mid to late summer. This is a stunning vertical accent plant in terms of both foliage and flower. This garden selection can be used as a marginal in ponds but also does very well in average garden soils.
