| Gurla Mandhata, or Naimona`nyi Peak is located in Burang County, facing the crystal-clear and white snow-capped Mt. Kailash in the north across the pure Lake Manasarovar and demon Lake Rakshastal. Being 7,694-meter high, the peak is one of the highest peaks in the Himalayas. Best time to visit is from May to late June. Naimona`nyi means `the Mountain of Goddess` in Tibetan language. |
