Pictured is a fresco with Nakht pouring water on the table of offerings and his wife Tawy standing behind him. The fresco is on the northern part of the east wall of tomb TT52 in the Theban Necropolis near Luxor, Egypt. Nakht was an Ancient Egyptian official who held the position of a scribe and astronomer of Amun, probably during the reign of Thutmose IV in the Eighteenth Dynasty. |
