| Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area National Nature Reserve, located in Zhangzha Town, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in the southern section of Minshan Mountains in northwest Sichuan Province, is located in the northeast of Gonggan Ridge in the southern section of Minshan Mountains. [14] It is a large branch of the headwaters of Baishui River in the upper reaches of Jialing River, the Yangtze River water system, and covers a drainage area of about 642.97 square kilometers.
