The Sexten Dolomites - Italian: Dolomiti di Sesto, German: Sextener Dolomiten is a mountain range and a nature reserve in South Tyrol, Italy. The nature park was renamed in 2010 to Parco Naturale Tre Cime. The Sesto Dolomites are a mountainous group of the Sesto, Braies and Ampezzo Dolomites, located between the province of Belluno and the autonomous province of Bolzano: located in part within the Tre Cime Natural Park, established in 1982, they take the name from the village of Sesto, located just north-east of the group, comprising a rather large territory, broadly delimited by the lower Val Pòpena and the Val di Landro, the Val Pusteria, the Passo di Monte Croce di Comelico on the border with Austria, from the Padola Valley, the Piave Valley and the Ansiei Valley, with the highest peak represented by the Punta dei Tre Scarperi 3,152 m, the famous Strada degli Alpini winds through them.
