The Mountain Farm Museum is a collection of farm buildings throughout the park to what is know as the Oconaluftee Visitor Center on Hwy 441 in Cherokee North Carolina. You can explore the different building used by our pioneers from, barn, to pig sty. Davis House a log home built of the American Chestnut tree gives the visitor a rare look before the chestnut blight decimated the American Chestnut in our forests. Visit and walk through the living museum, and see how our ancestors lived over one hundred years ago.
