| Mount Popa is an extinct volcano 1518m (4981ft) above sea level, in central Burma (Myanmar). It is best known for the picturesque Popa Taungkalat Monastery atop the outcrop. The Popa Taungkalat (Taung Kalat) Shrine is home to 37 Mahagiri Nats, or spirits. |
