| Panoramic view of Elbrus from Cheget mount from a height of 3000 m. Morning. Time 10 am. 18 july 2020. Two peaks of Elbrus: east and west. Both are covered with eternal glaciers that do not melt in summer. The highest peak is the western one. She is on the left in the photo. Its height is 5642 m. A sliding glacier is clearly visible in the center. It gives rise to a mountain river called Garabashi. On the Elbrus volcano, glaciers are well exposed from the snow. The surface of the mountain is dark red and brown in places. |
