Brodenbach is a small village on the south side of the Mosel on the Hunsrück side. The village has a harbor for small ships and several restaurants and hotels. From above the village the steep vineyards on the other side can bee seen, including the village Hatzenport. The lower Mosel valley area is known as Untermosel, Terassenmosel and as a wine area for Riesling
