| Landscape Park ensemble `Tsaritsyno` was created in the last third of the XVIII-first quarter of the XIX century.on the site of regular entertainment and fruit gardens of the estate Black Mud,protected groves along the banks of the Tsaritsyn Upper pond. At the end of the XVIII - first half of the XIX century. the garden and Park complex also included a greenhouse and extensive aerial gardens behind the ravine. The area of the right-Bank part of the Park, the most valuable and well-preserved, is currently about 42 hectares.
The beginning of the landscape English Park was laid in 1784 after the arrival in Tsaritsyno of a specially invited garden master Francis reed, whose `proven` project began the gradual transformation of the territory. Reed worked in Tsaritsyn until his death in 1799 and created a new compositional structure of the landscape Park. |
