| The Central Park of Culture and Rest after Maxim Gorky Gorky Park for short is a metropolitan recreation zone, one of the largest and most popular in the city. The main entrance of Gorky Park was built in 1955 by the design of architects G.V. Shchuko and A.S.Spasov in the style of the Stalinist Empire. After restoration in 2014 - 2015, it reopened. The first in the history of the Park Museum, an observation deck with a panoramic view of the park and Moscow, a lecture hall and a souvenir shop appeared in the Main Entrance complex. From the observation deck you can see the monument to Peter the Great, the dome of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and much more. In the museum you can take a virtual jump from a historic parachute tower. Breathtaking. |
