| Documentary Filmmaker and director, Morgan Spurlock arrives outdoors on a chilly January evening, as he prepares to attend the National Board of Review Awards Gala celebrating films released in 2009. The event was held at Cipriani 42nd Street in midtown Manhattan on January 12, 2010. Spurlock won the Best Director Award for his documentary `Super Size This` at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. Spurlock died in upstate New York on May 23, 2024 from cancer, at the age of 53. |
