| Monument to victims of political repression in St. Petersburg. The place of its location was chosen by chance - the Neva Embankment opposite the ââ¬ÅCrossesââ¬Â, because this prison was a sign of that terrible time. At the base of the memorial is one of the symbols of St. Petersburg - the sculptures of sphinxes, located opposite each other at a distance of several meters.
