Pictured is a monument to Fancis II in a courtyard at the Hofburg Palace, Vienna, Austria. The inscription Amorem Mevum Popvulis Meis was from the emperor`s last will, 1835 and means My love to my peoples. The pedestal is octagonal and has eight reliefs. The four statues at the corners of the base represent Religion, Peace, Justice and Strength. Religion is facing outward on the left with a star on her forehead and a cross to her chest. Peace is on the right, her right hand leaning on a laurel-wreathed sword and in her left a palm branch.
