| The Monument on the Afluitdijk (closure dike) in the Netherlands, in soft evening light. The Afsluitdijk is a large dam wich separates the Waddenzee from the Ijsselmeer since 1927. The dam was build from both sides at the same time. At the point where the two building teams met, the was closed and the monument was built. |
