| Monreal is a never destroyed medieval village in the Eifel. The historic village was elected the most beautiful village in Germany several times. Many half-timbered houses and two castle ruins made Monreal famous and the place for movies. The idyllic village has become a travel destination for tourists from many countries during summer. The winter colors are less known, when the low sun creates a special light on village and castles. |
