In the background you can see wellknown apartment house on the Kotelnicheskaya embankment, which is one of the seven skyscrapers in soviet empire style erected in 1950s according to Stalin`s idea. Among those skyscrapers the main building of the Moscow University is the most popular one. Thanks to the Stalin`s ambitions, Moscow is adorned with unique architectural buildings, which foundations were laid at the same time on 7 September 1947, the day that became conered the birthday of the city. On the right bank there is modern building of the business centre `Silver city`. |
