The Cathedral of Curtea de Arges & x28;early 16th century& x29; is one of the most famous monasteries in Romania. The building of the cathedral in Byzantine style with elements of the Renaissance and Gothic. Clearly visible are two symmetrical towers, twisted like a screw - this is a unique feature of the architecture of the cathedral. The facade is decorated with carved stones, arches and columns. In the sunlight, the facade of the monastery seems to glow - light gray stone acquires a warm golden shade.
