The Mirabel Palace and Gardens were built in 1606 on the north bank of the Salz River in Salzburg, which was renamed the Mirabel Palace by Dietrich's successors after his death. It is now the city hall of Salzburg.Mirabella Gardens is a popular photo spot. This baroque garden with Roman sculptures, fountains and mazes was once the place where Maria sang Do-Re-Mi with her children in the famous movie The Sound of Music.
