| Mickey Rooney entertains at a senior citizens' picnic in Chicago in May, 1984. Rooney, a 2-time Golden Globe winner, an Emmy-winner, a child and teen film icon and star of the Andy Hardy movie series, was in town at the time, appearing locally in the musical review, Sugar Babies. Rooney died at his North Hollywood, California home on April 6, 2014 at the age of 93. |
