Wells is an historic cathedral city in the heart of Somerset, England. The Saxons founded a minster church in the 8th century, Wells Cathedral was built between 1176-1450. The neighbouring Bishop`s Palace has been the seat of the Bishops of Bath and Wells for 800 years. The medieval almshouses shown here were founded in the fifteenth century.
