| A mating couple of the Blue-tailed Damselfly (Ischnura elegans). While the male holds firmly on a grass stem with it's leg, it uses the forked tail to seize the female by the neck. The female however bends it's body to reach the males' second segment, this way forming the shape of a heart. |
