Azizi Mosque & x28;Arabic: officially named Sultan Abdul Aziz Mosque & x28;Arabic: ??????& x29; or better known as the Langkat Sultanate Mosque & x28;Arabic: is a historical mosque of the Langkat Sultanate located in Tanjung Pura Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The mosque was originally built in 1889, on the orders of Sultan Abdul Aziz,[1] the late 19th century ruler of the Sultanate of Langkat.[2] The architecture of this mosque became an inspiration for the architecture of the Zahir Mosque in Kedah, Malaysia.
