| Marienthal is a village in Ahr valley and part of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler. Ahr valley is a wine region in the north of the Eifel at the edge of Rhineland-Palatinate. In 2021 the Ahrtal was struck by a huge flood with massive destruction. This picture is from autumn 2020, almost a year before the disaster. Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler is the regional center of the valley and surrounded by vineyards. |
