| Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina, known as Maria Theresia, 1717-1780, was the only female ruler of the German-Austrian Habsburg dynasty. She was sovereign of Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Bohemia, Transylvania, Mantua, Milan, Lodomeria and Galicia, the Austrian Netherlands and Parma. The marble sculpture is located in the Walhalla, a hall of fame for distinguished Germans, near Regensburg, Bavaria. |
