The once luxurious manor of the Radziwills exists in the city of Biala Podlaska and now, however, for a long time. Prince Alexander Ludwik Radziwill chose the small town of Biala Podlaska for his residence. An architect from Lublin, Pavel Negroni, was invited to build the magnificent palace. Together with the prince, he chose a place for the future noble residence. At the beginning of the 17th century, when, in fact, the construction of the palace was taking place, it was important to make this mansion fortified from all sides. The foundation for the palace was laid on the swampy bank of the Krzna River, which flooded every year and thus served as an additional natural protection for the estate.
