| Marianske Lazne, Czech Republic - June 3, 2021: The main spa colonnade sometimes also called the Maxim Gorky Colonnade is the main landmark of Mariánské LáznÃâº. With its length of 180 metres, it is the longest colonnade in the Czech Republic. The neo-Baroque cast-iron glass structure was built in 1888-1889 by local builder Johann Koenig on the site of the original `kursal` 119 x 12 metres. The designs for the Colonnade were prepared by the Viennese architects Hans Miksch and Julian Niedzielski. |
