| The magnificent Ishak Pasa Palace in the early morning. Construction of the palace was begun in 1685 by Colak Abdi Pasa, but was not completed until 1784 by his son Ishak. In the background is the town of Dogubayazit which lies on the Turkish eastern border with Iran. |
