| Pictured is a statue of Saint Peter, decorating The Chapel of the Holy Cross in the second courtyard of the Prague Castle, Czech Republic. The Chapel of the Holy Cross was built by Anselmo Lurago between 1758 and 1763, during the reign of Maria Theresa, according to plans made by the court architect, Pacassi. Statues of Saint Peter and Paul by Emanuel Max were added in 1854. |
