| The baby badger, also known as a cub, is a small mammal native to Europe, North Africa, and Asia. It is a member of theMustelidae family and is easily recognised by its distinctive black and white striped coat. Baby badgers live in social groups and leave their mother's side at around 12 weeks of age. They remain together until they reach maturity and then disperse to form their own smaller family units. Baby badgers are active during the day and can often been seen foraging for grubs and insects. They are fiercely defend their territories and can be quite vocal, especially when disturbed. |
