Calanque de Sugiton is one of the most picturesque and accessible calanques within the Parc National des Calanques. Nestled between the larger calanques of Morgiou and En-Vau, Sugiton is a favorite destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts, offering breathtaking views, turquoise waters, and a serene escape from the bustling city of Marseille. Sugiton is characterized by its striking limestone cliffs, lush Mediterranean vegetation, clear, azure waters. The small beach at the bottom of the calanque is a perfect spot for relaxing or enjoying a swim. Offshore, there is a prominent rocky islet known as Le Torpilleur (The Torpedo). The calanque is one of the easiest to reach on foot compared to others in the park. The hike to Sugiton takes about 45 minutes to an hour and includes well-marked trails with spectacular views along the way.
