| Long Youth Cole Temple, also known as Litang Temple, was founded in 1580 by the third Dalai Lama, Sonam Gyatso. It is the oldest and largest Tibetan Buddhist Yellow Church in Kang District. The temple covers an area of more than 500 acres, and there are more than 4,300 monks in the temple. It is stationed at around 800 people and is known as the ââ¬ÅShanxi Buddhist Holy Landââ¬Â. |
