| The Long Beach Bar Bug Lighthouse is a navigational aid for the hazardous sandbar between Orient Harbor and Gardiner's Bay, its bright beacon welcoming them to the protected waters of Peconic bay. Originally built in 1870 the original but burned in a fire in 1963. Through donations and volunteers the light was rebuilt in 1990. |
