Chateau Amboise is a major tourist attraction in Loire Valley. The castle was built in 1492 by the will of Charles VIII, who was born and died in Amboise. Leonardo da Vinci came to Chateau Amboise in 1515 as a guest of the King Francis I and died here in 1519.
