| Coelacanth is member of the oldest living order of fish, Sarcopterygii (lobe-finned fish and tetrapods). Latimeria chalumnae and the Latimeria menadoensis are the only two living coelacanth species, which are found along the coastlines of the Indian Ocean and Indonesia.
