Detail of the Carmo church and convent ruins in Lisbon, Portugal. Can be seen a baptismal font and cistern from 13 th century. It was a very important catholic temple and a Carmelite convent that was destroyed by the erthquake in 1755 (more than 15000 dead people) It never was rebuilt as a memory of the tragedy. It is an Archeologic Museum and the head quarters of the Portuguese Archeologists Association
