| Lianyungang, formerly known as `Haizhou`, is located in the central part of China`s coastal areas, east of the Yellow Sea, with a sea area of 6,677 square kilometers. It is named Lianyungang because it faces the island, backed by Yuntai Mountain, and because of the harbor. The territory is surrounded by mountains and seas, and the mountains and seas embrace each other. The port city is one of the China`s outstanding tourist cities. |
