Although the Lemur, Lemures is a primate, they are distinct from the other primates, monkeys and apes, because of how they evolved on their home island of Madagascar. The islands unique seasons caused lemurs to evolve differently.
There are still many types of lemurs, so indicating categorically what they do and how they react is not possible, but, in general, they are omnivores. Even though, most of their diets are fruits and leaves. So much so, so much so, they are considered as good pollinators, this is because of two different things.
As they move through the forest, pollen gets stuck to their coats, transported to new locations.
Also, as they eat nuts and seeds, they get pooped out in new locations.
