Yellow daylily (Hemerocallis lilioasphodelus (syn. Hemerocallis flava), also known as lemon daylily, lemon lily, is a plant of the genus Hemerocallis. Despite the common name, it is not in fact a lily. It grows in big, spreading clumps, and its leaves grow to 75 cm (30 in) long. Its scapes each bear three-to-nine sweetly fragrant, lemon-yellow flowers.
