| Radishroot woodsorrel (Oxalis albicans) is North American species of perennial herbs in the woodsorrel family Oxalidaceae. This flowering plant is widespread in Mexico and the United States. It grows in woodlands, meadows, and in disturbed areas as both a perennial and annual. Flowers are yellow and the alternate leaves are divided into three heart-shaped leaflets, which curl up at night and open in the day to perform photosynthesis. Sometimes written woodsorrel or wood-sorrel it has an acidic taste. |
