Merremia dissecta (Jacq.) Hallier f. is a tangled herbaceous plant in the family Convolvulaceae. The stem is coiled, slender cylindrical, striped, with yellow hard hairs developed, and the growing part is woody, almost hairless and tumorous. Leaves palmately divided near the base, with 5-7 lanceolate lobes with small pointed tips, edges with coarse teeth to irregular feather fissures, both sides hairless or covered with hairs on the dorsal veins. The corolla is funnel-shaped, measuring 3-3.5 centimeters in length, white in color, with a purple red throat. The crown has 5 distinct bands on the brim, with veins attached. Capsule spherical, hairless, 2-chambered, 4-lobed, containing 4 black seeds.
