Agave schidigera belongs to the family Agave and genus Agave.The fleshy leaves of Agave schidigera are arranged in a lotus seat shape, growing horizontally or radially, with a leaf disc diameter of up to 70-100 centimeters The base of the leaf blade is wide, hard and straight, nearly linear or sword shaped, with a few white lines and smooth cuticles on the leaf surface. The leaf tip has a 0.7-1 centimeter long hard thorn The leaves are dark green in color, with keratinized edges and slender, curly white fibers growing at regular intervals. Prefers warm, dry, and sunny environments, tolerant to drought but not shade, afraid of water accumulation, and has a certain degree of cold resistance. It has the habit of growing in warm seasons and resting in cold seasons, and is a 'summer type species' among succulent plants.
