The Saint-Laurentius church, almost 70 meters long, is especially pronounced with her tower, also known as the `pepper shaker`. The church dates back to 1719-1725 and has an exceptionally airy interior. Also the furniture is in many ways remarkable. Especially worth the visit is the beautiful rococo pulpit with the main motif `Jesus among Teachers in the Temple` made by the Mechelse sculptor Theodoor Verhagen, completed in 1736, and the `Great confessional` approx. 1700 in the Northern Crossbeam. View from the Church square. |
