Photo of commercial and charter boat captains protesting federal government fishing closures and restrictions for the atlantic and pacific ocean on 2/24/10. These people are protesting against the magnuson act and the national marine fisheries service claiming that the data collected by these conservation agencies is flawed resulting in unnecessary closures and loss of jobs. Over 3000 people showed up for the protest some as far away as alaska. Fisheries conservation will be a continuing issue as the world's oceans must feed many people as well as provide sport for a growing number of anglers.
