Shenzhen's Guangming District Eejingshui Wetland Park is located at the river mouth where Eejingshui flows into the Maozhou River. It is a wetland park primarily focused on ecological restoration and protection of wetland landscapes, while also serving to purify water quality. The park features three water treatment zones: preliminary wastewater treatment, subsurface flow wetlands, and surface flow wetlands, effectively reducing pollution from 40% of rainwater runoff. Often referred to as the city's 'green lung,' it also cultivates over 100 species of ground cover plants and more than 30 types of aquatic plants. In spring, when flowers bloom, it offers a beautiful scenery and serves as an excellent spot for citizens to relax and exercise.
