It is really worth visiting, armed with a camera, to "capture" the exceptionality of a particularly rich place from a botanical and faunal point of view.Even today, although it no longer happens, Lake Tovel is remembered for the unique phenomenon of redness in the world. Until the mid-60s, in summer, a certain algae surfaced on the surface, and the body of water appeared a bright red. To explain this extraordinary fact, mysterious stories and legends were born, such as that of Queen Tresenga.Today Lake Tovel is one of the natural jewels of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park. Visiting it means fully enjoying the contact with nature.
